Yan Liu，he received the Ph.D. degree from Imperial College London, UK. He completed his post-doc and was a Distinguished Research Fellow at Imperial College London, and engaged in several research projects in The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and European Research Council (ERC) during this period. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Micro and Nano Electronics Engineering and MoE Key Lab of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. His research interests include implantable brain-computer-interface IC design and microfluidic biochemical sensing system design based on IC technology. Dr. Liu has published more than 30 journal and conference papers, including IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and System, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and System I, IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices and so on, and has been granted 9 international patents.
