ISSCC! Congratulations on the acceptance of our PHD student LIU Boxiao's paper to be published at ISSCC

Abstract:

Congratulations on the acceptance of our lab member LIU Boxiao's paper titled “A 13-channel 1.53mW 11.28mm^2 Electrical Impedance Tomography SoC Based on Frequency Division Multiplexing with 10x throughout reduction " to be published at the 2019 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference.

This paper presents an on-chip electrical impedance tomography system, which can be used in lung imaging and other fields. The chip is the most integrated impedance measurement system at present. Through the new technology proposed, the chip will greatly reduce data output, power consumption per channel and hardware resource consumption. Radiation-free continuous tomography realized by chip is of great significance to the medical field.

This paper is the first time that Shanghai Jiaotong University published the text on ISSCC with the first author. ISSCC is recognized as the highest-level conference in the field of integrated circuits in the world academia and industry, and is known as Chip Olympics. Since its establishment in 1954 to 2018, more than 7500 papers have been published, and 24 papers have been published in mainland China. Last year, the students of BICASL Lab (Doctor: Hou Yuting) published the Student Research Preview on ISSCC for the first time. This year, Liu Boxiao's paper was accepted by ISSCC, which has achieved a great breakthrough in our university. It shows that our school has gradually entered the first-class international level in the field of integrated circuits.
