Abstract:

Prof. Wang has been elected as Vice President Financial Activities of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) for the term 2019-2020.

Congratulations to Prof. Guoxing Wang! Prof. Wang has been elected as Vice President Financial Activities of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) for the term 2019-2020. “It is a great honor for me to work with professionals at IEEE CASS. It also means a lot of responsibilities. Working together with other executives, I will strive for the CAS-Society to serve our CASS members,” said Prof. Wang. Very few people in our university assume such high-level position in an international research body like IEEE. 

IEEE CASS is one of the largest societies within IEEE, with about 10000 members around the world. The mission of IEEE CASS is to “foster CASS members across disciplines to address humanity’s grand challenges by conceiving and pioneering solutions to fundamental and applied problems in circuits and systems”. IEEE CASS has a large impact over the research community in China, especially in the Circuits and Systems Community, with about 600 members in Mainland China.
