Ahmed Reda Mohamed, Yue Gao and Tao He attended the ISCAS (IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems) on 26th-29th May, 2019.

At the meeting, Reda gave a presentation on his paper “Untrimmed CMOS Nano-Ampere Current Reference with Curvature-Compensation Scheme”. Reda’s paper shows an untrimmed stable CMOS Nano-Ampere current reference over a wide temperature range with curvature-compensation scheme which is realized by utility self-biased CMOS 𝜷 -multiplier circuit and operating near to zero temperature coefficient of MOSFET.The current reference is 142.5 nA with temperature coefficient (TC) of 40 ppm/ ℃ over a temperature range from -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ and the line sensitivity reaches 1.45 %/V in a range of supply voltage from 1.2 V to 2 V. The proposed circuit is designed and taped-out in 0.18 𝝁𝒎 CMOS technology with single supply voltage of 1.8 V.

Yue Gao gave a live demo for her paper “Live Demonstration: A Pulmonary Conditions Monitor Based on Electrical Impedance Tomography Measurement”. Yue Gao’s Live Demo showcased a test system based on the EIT chip. Based on the results of the laboratory's EIT chip, the system realizes continuous real-time reconstruction imaging of the tomographic impedance map of the model to be tested. The system has the advantages of low power consumption and no radiation hazard, and has broad application prospects in the field of medical imaging.

Tao He gave a presentation on his paper “A High Conversion Gain Wideband Mixer Design For UWB Applications”. Tao He's oral report shows a mixer circuit with high gain and wide bandwidth. The circuit combines multiple gain-enhancing techniques and proposes its own impedance matching network.
